Thanks. This doesn't actually apply to current head of git,
mostly because we removed the CVS keyword-substitution lines
when we moved over, but also the configure.in patch doesn't
apply any more because the context has changed. It would
probably be a good idea to rebase it at some point.
Note: might be a good idea to have "git pull" do a rebase automatically
by doing "git config --add --bool branch.master.rebase true".
Actually, let me clarify: that's probably a good idea for people who are
NOT developers and are working off of the read-only git repo. Developers
should probably not do that unless they know what they are doing.
