I am using mha-mhedit and have dealt with this problem before
but it was some time ago and I don't remember what I needed to
do to fix it. In fact, I am not sure it really got fixed or if
it sort of disappeared after an upgrade or something.
Martin, I hope you don't take this the wrong way ... but this is
the third time you've asked about mha-mhedit on here, and this isn't
exactly the right place. Okay, it's the third time since 2007, so
it's not exactly a flood of messages; I only point this out because
you might get better help on a mhonarc-specific list.
In answer to your message, I'll point you to the nmh-workers archive for
my answer from last time:
http://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/nmh-workers/2012-01/msg00174.html
But ... maybe it's not mha-mhedit that's the problem here, but one of the
perl modules that it uses? Nevertheless, I think mhonarc-users might be
a better place for that.
I do feel compelled to point out that as of nmh 1.5 you could always
use a program I wrote called replyfilter that comes with nmh and is a
little more integrated. But it's also written in perl, so YMMV.
