That's not actually true. The version in RHEL 5 (and hence CentOS) has
been patched to fix this (and other known vulnerabilities). You can't
tell simply by looking at the version number whether it has security
issues.
Fair enough (although, I would have thought that's the whole POINT of
version numbers, but whatever). There's still that whole "older than a
decade" thing :-)
