Hi Oliver,
A number of tests are failing on Solaris. This seems to mostly consist
of:
id: illegal option -- u
Usage: id [-ap] [user]
FAIL: test/mhmail/test-mhmail
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/nmh.git/tree/test/post/test-post-common.sh#n12
suggests the effective user ID is only used to cook up a `64000 + $euid
% 1000' port for the fake SMTP server to listen on. Presumably,
something more steady that the sh's $$ is sought? Creating a temporary
file and then `ls -no' might be portable to stick with EUID?
