I really don't think it is a good idea to copy out part of a Federal
Standard into our standard. You want this one little thing. Someone else
wants another little thing. Etc. There is no point to copying anything
from one standard into another that references it, unless you copy
everything (because you are going to evolve and depart in a different
direction, which we are not, no?) or unless there is something wrong with
the referenced standard (which there is not, no?).
