Does anyone know of any X.509 implementations and how I might get more
information about them?
We have developed an implementation of X.509 as part of a system which
also supports the X.400(88) security features. The system is based on
ISODE/PP/QUIPU and implements the S1a security class (except for the
security context stuff). We are currently fielding the system in a multi-
Directorate trial within the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND).
It uses DES and RSA for cryptography. We have already implemented key
revocation. The system handles both P22 and P772 (P22 plus some military
header extensions). Its got quite a slick MOTIF-based GUI which supports
drag-and-drop of O/R Addresses from the integrated DUA. For more information
