RE: Encoding wars

No wonder PGP is ahead and gaining.

If this is typical of PGP developer attitudes, it is no wonder PGP is having
increasing problems dealing with scaling issues.

Say, guys, not to distract
you or anything, but how many angels can dance on a pin?

You may think interoperable and signable CRLs are unimportant. You are
certainly entitled to your views on this. However, for a person with so much
insight into security infrastructure in particular and technical matters in
general, it is curious that you seem to be unable to locate and use the delete
function in your mail user agent.

I, on the other hand, happen to think that interoperable and signable CRLs are
extremely important. I suspect this view is shared by a large percentage of
PEM-DEV readers. And I don't mind going through the sometimes tedious process
of getting everyone to agree that there is a problem and to agree on how to fix
it.

The last time I checked this is the designated group for discussion of issues
affecting the PEM specifications. As far as I know there is no other place to
discuss this.
