I would argue that OCR is dead or about to be. Lets have something
really
futuristic like ASN.1 encoded body parts. :-) Then we could create
hex dumps
on paper tape. A new printed copy could be generated anytime and since
the
original encoded form was saved, we could re-verify those signatures.
Hey, we even have Tyvek, lessening the risk of torn or mangled tape !
