I hadn't heard of the Steve Kille RFC.
 
I don't have any problem with the + sign, etc.,
but the "little endian" convention seems
rather unnatural to me, although I agree
that is close to the way that we write postal
addresses.

Has this convention been widely accepted?

I guess old dogs can learn new tricks, but
in my case it may take a while!
