As promised here are the mailboxes for the (non-binding) referendum on
the current MIME-PEM spec. To vote in favor of progressing the spec
as it now stands (or with only very minor fixes of the sort that Jim
Galvin is now working on) send a message to:
justdoit(_at_)sub-rosa(_dot_)bbn(_dot_)com(_dot_)
If you want to include a VERY BRIEF note as to why you feel ths spec
should be progressed (e.g., "we need something right now and we can
fix any bugs later" or "I think it's just fine as is") please do so.
To vote in favor or spending more time and work on the spec, before
progressing it, send a message to:
letswait(_at_)sub-rosa(_dot_)bbn(_dot_)com
For messages to this address, you MUST include an indication of what
more should be done. The form of the requisite changes could be quite
specific (e.g., "change the keysel to be the hash of ...") or it could
be a higher level comment (e.g., "better define the model for use of
the spec to promote interoperability").
Voting can commence now and the polls will be open until January 22,
1995, to allow plenty of time for folks to get back from holidays,
vacations, and to catch up on mail (something I can certainly relate to).
