I see the question as one of priorities. I see ease of use as a very
major priority. With regard to security of other systems I have no or little
interest as to knowing exactly how baddly we can design a system and get
away with it. My interest is in producing a system which satisfies all the
requirements. I beleive that in this case it is entirely possible.
Credit card transactions are possible only becasue every transaction carries
insurance. A reduction in fraud means a reduction in the cost of that
insurance, so lower prices or bigger profits.
