With todays perl I cannot get the same job done that was working with
perl(_at_)14354(_dot_) My application (an indexer) runs for a while and gets

in an endless loop. When I do the same within the debugger, it hangs
in the same place but does not react to ^C, so I cannot find the perl
code where it is hanging.

So I ran the program within gdb, waited until the loop was reached and
hit ^C there. I have no experience within gdb, so please, if you have
question, give instructions what I should try next. Here are a few

Would you send me the application that is causing this? Though there were major changes regarding UCM installations and such, encengine.c and table compiler haven't changed a bit. In other words, the resulting *.so cannot be different.
