formail

1995-10-30 13:16:25

This is probably a dumb question and perhaps an FAQ, but anyway:

the man page for formail states:

To split up a digest one usually uses:
          formail +1 -ds >>the_mailbox_of_your_choice
     or
          formail +1 -ds procmail

Call me crazy, but I don't see where it allows you to tell it what file
to do this to. Assuming I have a file in my /Users/luomat called
'digest.txt' and I want to have formail split it up (even though it only
has the From/Subject/To/Date lines) how can I do that?

Pls CC any response to me 476tjl(_at_)ptsmail(_dot_)ptsem(_dot_)edu as I don't
get this
list.

Thanks
TjL
