Smart list question!

Hello mailing list experts!

I am experimenting in making one mailing list by smartlist!  I have a 
question to ask!  When i create the list, there is a three aliases to 
added in the system aliases file.  But i wonder what is the 
listname-dist: :include:/home/user/listname/dist    ?

i understand  listname: and listname-request: are for!  but what is that 
listname-dist: for?
