why did this match?

1996-02-08 15:35:04
I run a mailing list, so I have the followint recipe in my .procmailrc

:0:
* ^FROM_MAILER
/home/gjw/postmaster.mbox

Of course, the point is so that I can sit down and go through the bounced
mail all at once without having it cluttyer up my inbox during the day.
(Aside: I never noticed people joined miling lists as root until I tried
this!)

Anyway, here is the header from a message tht was archived to
postaster.mbox (and the recipe above is the only one I have which writes
to this file):

From wiseb(_at_)netlab(_dot_)cs(_dot_)rpi(_dot_)edu  Thu Feb  8 10:38:17 1996

Subject: BDE Stack underflow?????
Sender: owner-owl-list(_at_)netlab(_dot_)cs(_dot_)rpi(_dot_)edu
Precedence: bulk

Okay, so my question is: What matched? Why ws this message selected by
FROM_DAEMON?
