1996-02-08 16:42:10
Gregory Woodhouse asked,

| :0:
| * ^FROM_MAILER
| /home/gjw/postmaster.mbox

| Anyway, here is the header from a message tht was archived to
| postaster.mbox (and the recipe above is the only one I have which writes
| to this file):
|
| >From wiseb(_at_)netlab(_dot_)cs(_dot_)rpi(_dot_)edu Thu Feb 8 10:38:17 1996
| Date: Thu, 8 Feb 1996 15:37:27 GMT
| X-Sender: anroserv(_at_)pop3(_dot_)worldaccess(_dot_)nl
| Mime-Version: 1.0
| Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"
| To: owl-list-digest(_at_)netlab(_dot_)cs(_dot_)rpi(_dot_)edu
| From: anro services bv <anroserv(_at_)worldaccess(_dot_)nl>
| Subject: BDE Stack underflow?????
| Sender: owner-owl-list(_at_)netlab(_dot_)cs(_dot_)rpi(_dot_)edu
| Precedence: bulk
|
| Okay, so my question is: What matched? Why ws this message selected by
| FROM_DAEMON?

"Precedence: bulk" or "Sender:.*owner-", most likely. If this is how most
messages from the Owl List look, handle them earlier in your rcfile, before
the recipe that writes to postmaster.mbox.
