question on locking (AIX)

1996-02-28 06:47:29
Hello

I compiled procmail 3.10 on an AIX system and wonder what the heck is
meant with the the following message in the log file:

procmail: Lock failure on "/var/spool/mail/finc27.lock"

These are the first few lines of the current log file and because
everything seems to be ok here I'm not sure if I have to mind about it or
not.

Here is what procmail says about its locking strategies:

Locking strategies:     dotlocking, fcntl(), lockf()

And here is my .forward file:

"|IFS=' ' && exec /home/finc27/bin/procmail -f- || exit 75 #finc27"

Please tell me what is wrong.

Thank you very much.
