Re: exit status of formail?

Not according to a test I just made.
If the final invocation is a success then success is the exit status
of formail regardless of earlier failures of the program invoked.
In fact the exit status for formail appears to be the exit status for
the program invoked on the final invocation of the program invoked.

If any invokation of the program invoked by formail -s fails, does formail
also return failure?

I couldn't find this question answered in either the man page or the FAQ.

What if you do formail -n?  Is it just random in that case?
