Have you tried to automate the Hypermail program yet ,
I did and I am having some problems with my recipe here it it.

|hypermail -c "hmrcsea"
Any help would be greatly appreciated

The recipe below works OK for our particular setup for mail sent
to a SmartList managed list. It appears in the rc.init immediately
after the mail is "digested".
:0 cw
| /usr/new/bin/sun4/hypermail -i -u -l $LISTNAME -d
./../export/Mail/$LISTNAME
