The latest (3.94) release of Pine includes a header labeled Lcc: which is
specifically designed to allow distribution to lists such that each
recipient sees only their own address on the mail. The procedure for
using Lcc: is as described below (except that I don't know whether an
entry in the To: field is also required).

To see the full list of headers, type ^R (ctrl-R) when your cursor is in
any header field. There may be setup and configuration options which fine
tune the performance of the Lcc: header.

You don't say how long your list of recipients is, but some mailers
themselves (I know Pine, for one) have a Bcc: header feature which
might do what you want without even involving procmail at all (although
at present, Pine, at least -- I don't know about some others -- cannot
operate in batch mode). All you do is put a nickname, say, of the
recipient list in the Bcc: header field and put some dummy entry in the
To: field (that's very important!). Then each recipient will only see
his/her address in the incoming mail.
