I bet I know EXACTLY what you're looking for..
If procmail is setup as your local delivery agent, this becomes easy:
Right, I've got procmail setup for local delivery and it does filter
very nicely for users who have their mail delivered locally. However,
if a user has his mail forwarded to another offsite address then
changing the local mailer to use procmail doesn't matter because
sendmail is going to shunt it off to the smtp mailer and not end up
going through procmail's sitewide filters....so some users will end up
seeing posts that should have been filtered.
I'm beginning to wonder if this is something better handled with just
sendmail - but I'm looking for ideas - from the list archives it
appears that we've got sendmail knowledgable people here who might be
able to lend a hand. BTW, I've also sent this of to
comp.mail.sendmail
Thanks for the input,
Vince
