I've got a problem. I've been following the man pages pretty much
to the letter, and I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I have my
.procmailrc set up as:
### Begin Snip##################################################
PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin
MAILDIR=$HOME/mail #you'd better make sure it exists
DEFAULT=/var/mail/dwright #completely optional
LOGFILE=$MAILDIR/from #recommended
LOCKFILE=$MAILDIR/.locked
VERBOSE=on
:0:
* ^From.*dwright
from_me
:0
* ^Subject:.*Flame
/dev/null
### End Snip ##################################
But, when I look in my mail directory, I get:
eden%ls -la
total 206

That file that is the * is my problem. So far I can't figure out what
is wrong. My only guess is that my version of procmail is too old, but I
want to be sure before I request an upgrade from the system administrators.
