Does anyone know how to
1) turn it off
Never used it, so I can't help. Although its probably under the
preferences menu.
B) check message for HTML and convert them to plain ol ASCII
untested, so someone will spot a bug or two. :)

Sed should eliminate the html coding from the message since most html
codes you see in e-mail isn't going to be split over multiple lines.
Personally, I'm in favor of getting instructions for fixing it, and
bouncing mail back to them with instructions on making the corrections.
Or installing a real e-mail app...
