If you wish to be able to file into multiple folders, then "else"
clauses won't do. If you wish to only post into the first mailing
list which you check, then "else" clauses are fine.

I've never seen a message crossposted to any of the lists I am on,  
and if they were, the idfile thing would dump one of them anyway (I  
think).  I just want one copy, optimized for speed, so I think the  
"E" is the way for ME ;-)
