What is the ^FROM_DAEMON matching on? Does the "From " pseudo-header
line contain "daemon" or something bogus like that, for all users
except root? If so, then your local mailer definition may be screwed
up, thus causing the problem. If you're not sure what the ^FROM_DAEMON
is matching, try changing the condition to:
* ! \/^FROM_DAEMON
that should make procmail assign the text that was matched to the MATCH
variable which'll show up in the log.
I *don't* think this is a bug in the example recipe (it's worked fine for
me here!), but rather in the installation of procmail at your site.
