I just had mail to me bounce with this lovely error message:

mailer error 1

This is on a solaris machine running 2.5, and sendmail 8.8.2.
Has anyone encountered this before? Obviously /usr/procmail/bin/procmail is
there, and locally mounted -- it works almost 100% of the time!
Are you *100%* sure that your mail is only ever delivered on the
machine which has /usr/procmail/bin/procmail? Could there be another
machine on which your mail may be delivered which shares your account
(and your .forward file), but which doesn't have
/usr/procmail/bin/procmail?
