help

Hello I was wonderig if someone could help me how to setup my .forward 
file for this version of procmail.  Ive installed the procmail under my 
caccount at $HOME/procmail-3.11pre6 and I have given the basename at
$HOME/test/
now I need to run it and I do not know how to run a test on it.
