As Era Eriksson has posted, more recent editions of the procmailex(5) man
page offer something like this:
:0Whc:msgid.lock
| formail -D 8192 msgid.cache
:0a:
dupes
This is equivalent:
LOCKFILE=msgid.lock
:0:
* H ?? ? formail -D 8192 msgid.cache
dupes
LOCKFILE
