Ick! Do you have a really broken mail reader that doesn't handle
continued header line?
No, but the man page suggests doing this to make it easy for recipes to
search the header lines.

Correction. Here's what it says:

  -c Concatenate continued fields in the header. Might be convenient when
       postprocessing mail with standard (line oriented) text utilities.

Procmail is not a line-oriented text utility in the sense intended
here; it will wrap all fields internally before searching them.

In concrete terms,

    * ^Received:.*moo

will match

Received: from ahuramazda.toyota.jp (forged.ms.uu.net [153.34.99.41])
        by moo.iki.fi (sendmail version 1.0 -- beat that)
        Mon Jun 30 16:59:16 1997

in a Procmail recipe even without that formail trick.
