LOGABSTRACT=all doesn't work *for one single user* *on one single platform*

1997-07-04 10:59:00

Hi,

I compiled procmail-3.11pre7 on MkLinux today, and copied all
my users .procmailrc's to that platform, and tested. One of the users is
a system user; ~popmail, that doesn't have a password, just a "*", and the
rest is normal users.

~popmail's .procmailrc refused to log in the logfile even though it does
on my other computer, but when I turned on VERBOSE=yes or LOG=something,
that *was* logged.

The other users .procmailrc's logged as usual, and the ~popmail's
.procmailrc worked almost normal, at least the mail went were it was
supposed to go, even if there is one case where it seems it went to one
place too many, that I must investigate more fully.

Any clues? The /etc/passwd and /etc/group is the same for these users
on both Intel and MkLinux, and all else is as far as I can tell the same..

Thanks! Ps: Please reply BOTH to
