Yesterday, when I posted under this subject, I made a major
typographical error which I failed to catch on proofreading and
which someone pointed out to me. Sorry for the confusion. I
erroneously referred to procmail and newsreaders. Oops. I meant
type mailreaders. (I know that procmail does not do news.)
Also, I seemed to come down hard on users of certain programs and
products which shall here go nameless. Perhaps I could have phrased
myself more felicitously. I was not trying to start a flamewar. My
complaint is with the fact that naive users often do not receive
suitable instruction with the products that they sometimes receive
as freebies. Sorry for any misunderstandings.
