Is there any easy way to know default LINEBUF value for specific procmail?
I know it defaults to 2048 but I also know it could be
changed at compilation during installation. Correct?
One site's procmail obviously has larger default LINEBUF value
since a recipe which could only succeed with increased LINEBUF
on another site runs without LINEBUF specification.
So, I am curious...
I tried
:0cw:linebuf.lock
* $ !? test -f linebuf
| echo "$LINEBUF" > linebuf
but all I got was blank value;-(
