I have just completed installing procmail v3.11pre7 on an SGI Indy running IRIX
6.2. I am also running sendmail 8.8.6. Things seem to work all right so far
except an annoying login error message.
Each X-term window that is opened has the login sequence suspended and displays
the error message:
procmail: Unrecognised options: "e"
You made /usr/bin/mail a link to procmail. This is not necessary, as
you're invoking procmail directly as the sendmail local mailer, and it
has the nasty side effect of breaking the "mail -e" command that
appears in /etc/cshrc. Restore the system version of mail and things
should start working again.
