Hi.
On andrew, an ancient mail system used at CMU, it's possible to configure your
mail account so if mail is sent to
userid+mailbox(_at_)andrew(_dot_)cmu(_dot_)edu, the mail
gets appended to a unix style mailbox in ~userid/some/path/mailbox. I think
this is a cool feature. I was wondering if I can recreate it with sendmail
and procmail. It would be best if /some/path was configurable on a per user
basis, and that if mailbox doesn't exist the mail is sent to the regular place
mail goes. I've looked around and I can't find an example of doing this. Can
anyone point me in the right direction?
BTW, I'm using:
procmail v3.11pre4
Sendmail 8.8.5/8.7.3
with procmail configured as the local deliver agent.
Reply via email would be appreciated.
Thanks.
