I still think you should put the at-sign outside the parentheses for the
second one. In fact, you ought to put "interlog\." outside them in the
first variable. Anyhow,

No. In fact, that would ruin them. If you ever get into a situation where
they are rescanned, you can always use $\MYISP and $\MYLISTS.
