Hi,
I don't really know what this list is made for but I'll give it a
shot. I read all the FAQs I could find, I rtfm'ed a lot and can't find
an answer to my problem.
The problem is simple: procmail does not deliver mail to $DEFAULT. My
mail stays in /var/mail/$LOGNAME . All the other recipes work fine and
procmail delivers to various mailboxes with no problem at all.
When looking at the log file, it is clear that procmail never attempts
to deliver the mail to $DEFAULT.
My machine is a Sun Ultra 30 under solaris 2.6. this is the beginning of
my .procmailrc:
# Please check if all the paths in PATH are reachable, remove the ones that
# are not.
SHELL=/bin/sh
PATH=$HOME/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/opt/local/bin:/usr/ucb:
MAILDIR = $HOME/mail # You'd better make sure it exists
LOGFILE = $MAILDIR/from
DEFAULT= $MAILDIR/mailspool
VERBOSE= on
