Using SED

I have looked and I can't find this.

What command to I give in sed to tell it to ignore case when
looking for a match on a word?

i.e. I know what the word is that I want to match, but I want it
to match it whether on letter is uppercase and all the rest
are lowercase, or if thier all upper or all lower or any
     combination in between.

Is there a way to do it without putting every letter in a box like
[aA][bB]etc...

I know this is off topic in procmail but who else knows sed better
than seasoned procmail users?
