Okay, loaded procmail a few weeks ago and it is definately better than
mail as an MUA... thanks to whomever posted the patch on memory usage
also, fixed the problem on our system... next FILTERS...
Where is this going?... I need a pointer on putting in a system wide
filter to eliminate mail to ids that don't exist.... ie:
From:SpamJerks.com/To:Spamjerks.com (notice some fustration here...)
I have in my sendmail.cf file ...
Mprocmail, P=/usr/bin/procmail, F=mSDFMhun, S=11, R=21,
A=procmail -m $h $f $u
right under the Mlocal
and in the local rulesets I have
procmail hanlder
R$*<@some.where>$*
$#procmail $@/etc/procmailrcs/main.rc
$:$1(_at_)some(_dot_)where(_dot_)procmail$2
R$*<@$*.procmail>$*
$1<@$2>$3 Already filtered, map back
Look familar... all directly from the docs.... cut & paste is my friend...
Now, here comes the probably most stupid question of the list's history...
The @some.where & @some.where.procmail is suppose to be our domain... right?
The second to the most stupid question....
What do I put into /etc/procmailrcs/main.rc to stop/filter the mail? A
ref. to a doc will do for this one.
TIA and flames deserved
