Hi everybody,
I tried to get through most of the FAQ's and listed mailinglist-resopnese,
but I didn't find what I was looking for. I placed the follwing into my
.forward file
"|/home/greini/procmail-3.11pre4/bin/formail -k -X From: -I 'From:
e1234567(_at_)stud1(_dot_)tuwien(_dot_)ac(_dot_)at' -X Subject: -I 'Subject:
7176' -X To: -I 'To:
436761234567(_at_)max(_dot_)mail(_dot_)at' | /usr/sbin/sendmail -t"
in order to forward all incoming e-mails to my mobile telephone. It work's
quite well, but there is one little thing that makes me unhappy. In order
to get the messages to a mobile-phone, you have to send an e-mail to
43676phonenumber(_at_)max(_dot_)mail(_dot_)at
Then You get a PIN (4 digits) for this partikular e-mail address. So what
I'm doing is: every e-mail that comes in is forwarded to my mobile-e-mail
number (43676(_dot_)(_dot_)(_at_)(_dot_)(_dot_)(_dot_)(_dot_)) with the 7176
PIN in the "Subject :-field". But on
order to deliver the e-mail to my mobile the "To:-field" has to be always
the same.
The problem now is that I get all e-mails to my mobile phone and i tells
my that the sender is always
e1234567(_at_)stud1(_dot_)tuwien(_dot_)ac(_dot_)at(_dot_)
My question now:
Is there a way of exctracting the old "From:-field" and overwrite it
with the new "From:-field" (e1234567(_at_)(_dot_)(_dot_)(_dot_)), but putting
it as the
first characters of the body of the message. Something like:
"|/home/greini/procmail-3.11pre4/bin/formail -k -X From: -I
'From: e123456(_at_)stud1(_dot_)tuwien(_dot_)ac(_dot_)at' -X Subject: -I
'Subject: 7176' -X To: -I 'To: 43676123456(_at_)max(_dot_)mail(_dot_)at'
****put the old
Form:-field here at the start of the message body ******* |
/usr/sbin/sendmail -t"
Thanx in advance,
Georg
