Hi,
Im a relitive newcomer to procmail. Iv been using it for about a month
now, but only doing basic sorting. I now have a problem that i don't wish
to re-invent the wheel over.
Microsoft in it's latest release of "Outlook 5.5" broke the auto forward
so i can no longer forward my mail to my unix account for sorting and
reading. As a solution to this, I manually forward the messages in a
large block (click on first, shift click on last). This causes all the
messages to be sent to me as one message, with many mime parts.
Now i have a recipe(s) for processing the mail, but it leaves this anoying
trailing part at the end of each e-mail message in my in boxes.:
------ =_NextPart_000_01BDC21A.79FF6B84
Content-Type: message/rfc822
Content-Description: Lisa working from home today
Now this part can be anywhere from 1 - 3 lines long. Is there some easy
way for me to process the file i get so that i do mime "correctly" in my
procmailrc, or just get rid of this message. I can't be the only person
to have this procblem, seeing as how a lot of others must suffer Microsoft
and Novell mail clients in the world.
Any scripts or recipies would be great. Thanks.
NOTE:
_NextPart_ has a psudo random number after it each new block of messages
sent. Content-Type, can contail other types. Content-Description,
is pretty much a subject line of the message that is next in the file.
