One more time.  

How about domains in the M-Id that are terminated with a ".", like
Message-Id: <023502523(_dot_)baz(_at_)growl(_dot_)pobox(_dot_)com(_dot_)>

The trailing "." should be legal, right?  (telling named not to resolve
the domain any further.)
