Log file excerpt and rc.maillists, please. (Not to me personally; to
the list.)

rc.maillists: Funny you should mention. The only thing that is in my
rc.maillists is "#" The Filtering Mail FAQ (and yes, you were right about
that -- it was the Filtering Mail FAQ I got these recipes from, not the
Procmail FAQ) doesn't actually tell you to make an rc.maillists file until
after you've successfully tested. But when I didn't have one, I got back
the following error message:
From mpollak(_at_)panix(_dot_)com Sun Sep 20 18:24:15 1998
Subject: test
Folder: IN.testing 651
procmail: Couldn't read "/net/u/9/m/mpollak/.procmail/rc.maillists"
From mpollak(_at_)panix(_dot_)com Sun Sep 20 18:24:27 1998
Subject: other subject
Folder: /net/u/9/m/mpollak/.mail 660
procmail: Couldn't read "/net/u/9/m/mpollak/.procmail/rc.maillists"
So I made /.procmail/rc.maillists with just one commented out line, which
removed the error message. But the unfiltered mail was already heading to
.mail, according to the log.
Thanks again for any and all suggestions,
Michael
