I suspect that Netscape maintains a "death grip" lock on the file and is the
only program that can open it and update it while netscape is up and
running. I have this problem with my backups--- I can't back up several
netscape files unless I am logged off of netscape. This is probably a good
thing-- you don't want to back up a file while it's in the middle of an
update state.

.procmailrc
-----------------
PATH=$HOME/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/ucb:/bin:/usr/local/bin:.
MAILDIR=$HOME/nsmail # You'd better make sure it exists
DEFAULT=$MAILDIR/Inbox
LOGFILE=$HOME/tmp/from.`date +%y-%m-%d`
LOCKFILE=$HOME/.lockmail

and the problem that report the log file is:
------------------------------------------------
procmail: Error while writing to " formail -ds cat >>
/var/spool/mail/my_user "
From my_user(_at_)email_server_machine Tue Oct 6 16:03:54 1998
Folder:
/users/my_user/nsmail/Inbox 1630

My /var/spool/mail/my_user file is mounted on my machine (HP) from

Basicaly what I like is: after processing email with procmail, let knows

Any advice will be welcome,
