gives the sender a mailer deamon response

sounds like a permissions problem.. what is your MTA? did you check that / /etc
/etc/mail /var /var/mail /var/spool /var/spool/mqueue /usr /usr/lib `dirname
${HOME}` and ${HOME} are chmodded go-w?
