This is an SMTP result coming from the REMOTE SMTP server, rejecting your
message because your domain does not resolve through DNS.  if the only
place it is ACTUALLY resolved is ON YOUR MACHINE, you're got a problem.
You won't be fixing it by fudging local hosts files: this is a BIND (DNS)
issue.

yourdomain.com is configured somewhere in your mailer config - either as
localhost, or directly in the sendmail.cf.  Try grepping the whole of your
/etc/ directory for 'yourdomain' to find references.
