dear all,
i have procmail installed (supposedly), but get very strange behavior.
when mail comes in, it gets saved to /var/spool/mail/mail. even when i
send mail to root(_at_)localhost, the mail gets sent to that file.
furthermore, the procmailrc is:
HOME=/root
SENDMAIL=/usr/lib/sendmail
MAILDIR=${HOME}/mail
PROCDIR=/usr/bin/procmail
FORMAIL=/usr/bin/procmail
VERBOSE=on
INCLUDERC=${HOME}/.procmail/rc.maillists
LOGFILE=$MAILDIR/MAILLOG
but no log file MAILLOG is generated! can someone guess as to what the
problem here is? my .forward is:
"|IFS=' ' && p=/usr/bin/procmail/procmail && test -f $p && exec $p -Yf- || exit
75 #root"
can someone please help me?
thanks!
pete
