safety net?

I tried adding the "safety net" recommended in the 'procmailex'
man page:

        :0 c
        backup

        :0 ic
        | cd backup && rm -f dummy `ls -t msg.* | sed -e 1,32d`

but nothing shows up in the $MAILDIR/backup directory.
