Hi everybody.
I'm using procmail (v3.11, under Solaris 2.6 with sendmail) for some time now
and I'm happy with it.
Lately, a strange thing popped up:
Whenever somebody sends a message with multiple addresses in the TO field
(such as when sending a message to a list of people)to me, he/she gets an error
in the sense of:
"message could not be delivered to <my address>
reason: shell exited with status -1 "
However, I do get the mails with absolutely no hint that there might have been
something wrong.
I have checked the logfile (set to verbose=all) and have only found the
following:
procmail: [6379] Tue Jul 13 18:01:08 1999
procmail: No match on "From.*procmail-request"
procmail: No match on "From.*JPL"
procmail: No match on "From.*owner-esonews"
procmail: Locking "/var/mail/fridez.lock"
procmail: Assigning "LASTFOLDER=/var/mail/fridez"
procmail: Opening "/var/mail/fridez"
procmail: Acquiring kernel-lock
procmail: Unlocking "/var/mail/fridez.lock"

Subject: IGNORE THIS (again)
Folder: /var/mail/fridez 1238
procmail: Notified comsat: "fridez(_at_)19387:/var/mail/fridez"
procmail: Unlocking "/u/aiub/fridez/.lockmail"
Does anybody have a clue about what happens ? I certainly don't. I'm not even
sure, if this is a procmail problem...
Cheers,
Pierre
