What I would like to accomplish ideally, is delivery of incoming mail from
Sendmail 8.9.3 + the latest procmail release, to multiple directorys based
on the FROM address. So for example, strip the domain from lets say
'test(_at_)test(_dot_)example(_dot_)com' and deliver the msg appropriately to
/var/spool/mail/example.com/test. Not the easiest task, but im sure its
possible. Only verification I'd truly need to do is against the
sendmail.cw configurations to ensure that the host exists.

If you're storing based on the From: header, what does the sendmail.cw
file have to do with it? It all made sense (kind of) up till that last
statement about using the sendmail.cw to see whether "the hosts exists",
which makes no sense to me. That makes me suspect that I don't understand
the first part. Can you explain what you're trying to do a bit more?
