Sent messages

1999-12-12 17:36:29
  I'm wondering if someone would know a way to do this, my sent folder is
in excess of 5mb at this time, and I was wanting to seperate it out into
individual folders based on month and year, the way that pine does at the
end of a month. The problem I seem to notice is that the Sent file does
not have complete headers so its not correctly going thru the
filters. Each message has the leading From line looking like the following
    From skull(_at_)primenet(_dot_)com Sat Aug 15 10:58:03 1998

but after it goes thru the filter I have it run thru,
    :0
    * ^Date:.*1998
    1998

all messages after the first end up looking like the following on the From
line
    >From skull(_at_)primenet(_dot_)com Sat Aug 15 10:58:03 1998

and I havn't been able to figure a way around it. A typical header for
each message looks like the following

    From skull(_at_)primenet(_dot_)com Tue Nov 30 20:44:03 1999 -0800
    Date: Tue, 30 Nov 1999 20:43:32 -0800 (PST)
    From: tomas(_at_)primenet(_dot_)com
    Sender: skull(_at_)pipedream(_dot_)smotrs(_dot_)org
    To: rxvt-workers <rxvt-workers(_at_)rxvt(_dot_)org>
    Subject: 16 colors
    Message-ID:
<Pine(_dot_)LNX(_dot_)4(_dot_)20(_dot_)9911302023580(_at_)pipedream(_dot_)smotrs(_dot_)org>
    MIME-Version: 1.0
    Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII
    Status: O
    X-Status:

  Any ideas?
